I never got around to uploading this until now haha… Anyway this is my contest Entry for the Myfigurecollection.net & Otacute Bento contest.

My goal was to try and have the Otacute Mascot (which is very colorful) in the size of a figure, inside a bento box that’s adorned with the MFC Mascot “Tsuko-tan”.
My very first sketch was on paper that I put down my idea on and I stuck with it until the end. The only thing I didn’t stick with were flying carrot pieces in the shape of flowers all around the girl haha…
I had to rush towards the end of the deadline because I didn’t ahve the time with work at night and sleeping during the day so I couldn’t spend as much time on the details as I would have liked to :/ I also had some issues where I lost quite a few hours of progress on the picture on the last day and had to redo it all ;_;
But overall I’m happy with it, I enjoyed playing with bright and vibrant colors as well as learning how to draw Tempura, Salmon and salad! I had too much fun with the details on some of them and really liked drawing them for the first time because of the contest! Otherwise I don’t think I’d ever drawn a beno box and some contents of it :)
Anyway! The winner of the contest will be announced May 11th! I’m really excited for that! ~ Please wish me luck!
